Terms of service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating a CrickPay account or using the CrickPay platform, an academy and its authorised administrator agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use CrickPay.

2. Academy accounts

• An academy account must be created by an authorised representative of that academy, at least 18 years of age.
• The academy is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under its account.
• Academies must provide accurate information at registration and keep it up to date.

3. Plans, pricing and billing

CrickPay currently offers four plans:

• Free — ₹0, for a single admin and up to 50 players, with basic features.
• Pro — ₹2,000 per year, billed annually, with expanded user roles and features.
• Pro+ — ₹5,000 per year, billed annually, for multi-academy operators.
• Lifetime — ₹15,000, a one-time payment (see Section 4 below).

Prices shown are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout. Annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand from the customer portal. We will provide advance notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. The Lifetime plan

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment that grants ongoing access to the features included in the Lifetime plan at the time of purchase. Specifically:

• Core platform access under the Lifetime plan does not expire and is not subject to further subscription fees.
• Whether new features released after your purchase date are automatically included, offered as a paid upgrade, or excluded, will be stated clearly at the time of your purchase and in your order confirmation.
• Continued hosting and support are provided as long as CrickPay operates as a service; in the unlikely event CrickPay discontinues the platform, we will provide reasonable advance notice and a data export path for Lifetime customers.

We call this out explicitly because "lifetime" plans are easy to misunderstand — if anything above is unclear, please contact us before purchasing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CrickPay to: violate any law; send unsolicited bulk messages unrelated to legitimate academy communication; attempt to gain unauthorised access to another academy's data; or reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the platform without our written agreement.

6. Academy responsibility for player data

Academies are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from players and their parents or guardians before entering their information into CrickPay, and for the accuracy of that information. CrickPay processes this data on the academy's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep CrickPay available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out scheduled maintenance and will try to give advance notice where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrickPay and WCA Sports LLP are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to CrickPay is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. You may cancel your account at any time from the customer portal; see our Refund Policy for what happens to fees already paid.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above and notify administrators of material changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
